Job Information

  • Responsibilities: Create challenging single-turn prompts in the commercial blasting and energetic materials domain, labeled as benign, dual-use, or adversarial. Review model responses against a defined policy standard and determine whether each was handled correctly. Produce clear reference answers that explain the appropriate response and the underlying technical reasoning. Distinguish routine professional questions from those seeking information that could enable misuse.
  • Qualifications: Licensed practitioner experienced in the daily handling, storage, movement, and accountability of specialty materials. Background in blast design and vibration control (timing, burden, seismograph monitoring, regulatory limits), magazine management and inventory reconciliation, storage compatibility and security compliance, or training/auditing of blasting crews. Experience in mining, quarrying, construction, or demolition blasting is directly relevant.
  • Technical Skills: Ability to write precise technical rationales understandable to non-specialists. Strong judgment in identifying the dual-use boundary in professional blasting and materials-handling contexts. Comfort reading and writing about misuse-related scenarios within the domain for sustained periods.
  • Language and Schedule: Work is writing-intensive and performed independently on a flexible, asynchronous schedule. English proficiency sufficient for clear technical writing is required.
  • Contract Type: Project-based contractor / task-based engagement.

Compensation

Pay is $65–$75 per task. Payment cycle and method should be confirmed during the application and onboarding process if not specified in advance.
