This remote Voice Actor: CX Agent Voice Cloning job is open to US-based individuals with a natural African American English delivery and a clear, expressive voice. Selected candidates will record voice samples used to develop and evaluate an AI-powered customer experience agent.

PROJECT DETAILS

The project involves recording conversational, narrative, and instructional voice samples to support the development of text-to-speech systems. Recordings must sound natural and consistent, with appropriate control over pronunciation, tone, pacing, and emotional expression.

This is an independent contractor engagement that can be completed remotely on your own schedule. The initial commitment is approximately one four-hour recording session, with a possible second session of similar length depending on client requirements. New voices are onboarded on a rolling basis. Payments are made weekly through Stripe or Wise based on services rendered. Projects may be extended, shortened, or concluded early depending on project needs and performance.

JOB INFORMATION

  • Responsibilities: Record high-quality voice samples using different scripts and speaking styles; deliver natural, expressive speech; maintain consistent pronunciation and vocal delivery; follow recording instructions; and provide multiple takes with variations in tone and emotion when requested.

  • Qualifications: Must be based in the United States and have a natural African American English delivery, clear diction, strong intonation, and the ability to follow scripts accurately.

  • Technical Skills: Access to a professional or near-professional recording setup, including a quality microphone and quiet recording environment. Familiarity with audio editing software such as Audacity, Adobe Audition, or Reaper is beneficial.

  • Language and Schedule: African American English delivery is required. Candidates must be available for an initial recording session of approximately four hours, with a possible additional session.
