Medical Expert – Dermatology (Remote) | Contractor
PROJECT DETAILS
The project combines clinical expertise with the evaluation of AI systems used in healthcare. Dermatologists will review medical text generated by large language models (LLMs), including diagnoses, treatment recommendations, and clinical summaries, to identify inaccuracies, potentially harmful information, and missing details.
A significant part of the work also involves reviewing dermatology images through an online evaluation platform. This includes checking image quality, assessing whether images are suitable for diagnostic use, identifying potential skin conditions where applicable, assigning confidence ratings, and documenting clinical reasoning. Attention to visual detail is important, as some assignments may involve sensitive or graphic medical images.
This is a fully remote freelance contractor assignment exclusively for US-based dermatologists. The engagement lasts 12 weeks and requires at least 20 hours per week, although the schedule is flexible and work can be completed at the contractor's own pace. Selected candidates must also complete a client certification after onboarding, which is paid for by the hiring organization.
