JOB INFORMATION
- Responsibilities: Develop evaluation tasks from real civil, survey, and site work, including grading plan reviews, erosion and sediment control checks, stormwater design reviews, roadway and traffic control plan checks, utility drawing reviews, floodplain permit assessments, earthwork quantity verification, ALTA Table A items, title exception reviews, elevation certificate checks, topographic map reading, and related deliverables. Author the task and the correct answer; a second reviewer in the discipline validates each item before it is finalized. Provide structured feedback that supports accurate domain evaluation.
- Qualifications: Current or recent experience as a civil engineer, land development engineer, land surveyor, or geospatial / Phase I environmental analyst. PE in civil engineering or PLS preferred for survey and mapping work. Minimum 3 years in a production or review seat (8+ years preferred). Experience working to U.S. standards and state DOT or local land development practices. Ability to move fluidly between drawing sets, aerials, topographic maps, and parcel data.
- Technical Skills: Comfort reviewing engineered drawings, survey documents, aerial imagery, and related site materials. Familiarity with the types of quantities, contours, exceptions, and notes that agency or peer reviewers typically scrutinize.
- Language and Schedule: English proficiency required. Fully remote with flexible, self-directed scheduling; U.S.-based applicants only.
